Can boron application increase the starch content in cassava roots?

Abstract Boron is one of the essential micronutrients that important for cassava growth, which in formation starch, but research on effect boron plants still rarely reported. Therefore, aim this study was to know application starch content. The experiment conducted Tanjung Bintang District, South Lampung Regency, Province from February December 2020. Waxy clone used as planting material and 45% boric acid fertilizer treatment material. There were five treatments (B0 (0 kg ha -1 ), B1 (0.31 −1 B2 (0.63 B3 (0.94 B4 (1.26 )) applied waxy cassava. arranged a Completely Randomized Block Design (CRBD) with 3 replicates. results showed average weight roots 2.15 kg/plant content 23.83%. Treatment also highest mean those two variables compared other treatments.
